How it is used in a coaching business
CSR only works if the result is defined the way it was sold. A business coaching program that promised a first $10,000 month counts a client as a success when they have one. A fitness program that promised a body composition change counts it when the measurement is in. Vague definitions, like made progress, turn the number into a feeling. The definition should be written down before the first cohort starts.
- One result per offer, measurable, with a deadline that matches the program term.
- Tracked per client on a dashboard the team reviews weekly, not reconstructed at renewal time.
- Reported per cohort, so the effect of a change to onboarding or training can be seen.
- Used in sales copy only with the cohort, period and number of clients disclosed.
| Program | CSR before | CSR after |
|---|---|---|
| Acquisition Ace | Unknown, not tracked | 20 percent or more |
| Video Business Academy | Not tracked | 50 percent or more |
Both are clients of Scale With Fulfillment. Diego Miescher also builds the Acquisition Ace website. Results depend on the offer, the clients and the delivery, and are not typical of every program. The point of the table is the first column: before a results-tracking system existed, the number was unknown.
