How it is used in a coaching business
Most programs know roughly how many people were on last week's call. Almost none know which clients have missed the last three. The first number is a vanity metric. The second is a list of people about to leave. Attendance is the cheapest signal to collect, because the platform already has it, and the most predictive of churn in a group program.
| Input | Example |
|---|---|
| Clients enrolled and expected on the call | 120 |
| Clients who attended live | 72 |
| Attendance rate for the call | 72 divided by 120, or 60 percent |
| Per-client view | Each client's attended calls out of the last four |
- Log attendance after every call, by name, into the same sheet or dashboard as the health score.
- Set a rule: one missed call gets a message, two gets a call from the client success manager.
- Fix the call before blaming the clients. Time slot, structure and reminders move attendance more than content does.
